Had an idea to make an music instrument a long time ago and I think now this PCB class can really be the chance.

Inspired by the design of plugging in usb cable, Im thinking about initializing each sample sound by simply plugging in a usb port. Potentially the board may have 10 – 20 port which equals to 10 -20 sample sounds. With different combinations of port being plugged in, different musics shall be composed.

So for the first week I started with prototyping a sound player with an arduino uno.

Its a simple test of the arduino acts as a music instrument, although in the future the board may have an aux port for connecting to a better speaker and a memory space to store all the music files.

Light weight coding with some notes defined in another .h file, the board is able to play some music.

Parts:

Arduino Uno

Speaker
